Cooling Units
Cooling Units
Optimal development of thermal and violet printing plates requires tight control of the developer temperature to ensure that plate processing is accurate and repeatable—from job to job over time. Developer chilling units work in tandem with developer bath heating elements to maintain the proper developer temperature (within +/- 0.5 degrees Fahrenheit) at all times.

Chiller One—Closed Loop Cooler
  • This water chiller is capable of extracting 950 watts per hour with an ambient temperature of 32 degrees C.
  • Setpoint temperature ranges from 5 degrees C to 40 degrees C (41 degrees F to 104 degrees F).
  • It is simple in operation and maintenance free with the exception of condenser cleaning.
  • The chiller operates using a shell and tube evaporator.
  • A flexible shell eliminates the need for antifreeze and prevents damage caused by freeze-ups.
  • Maximum cooling is available almost immediately upon startup.
  • Temperature stability +/- 0.5 degrees Celsius
Standard Power: 220 volts/60 hz 5.5 amps
OR Option: 110 volts/60 hz 11 amps
